Full Membership is a way for companies to convey confidence to consumers. This is because, by fully adhering to the Arbitration Center, the company accepts its intervention in any consumer dispute that may arise.
After receiving a complaint from a consumer and having it analyzed by a lawyer from the Center, contact will be made with the other party, with a view to establishing an agreement between them. If this measure is unsuccessful, the case will be referred to conciliation and arbitration.
The membership process is simple, voluntary and free.
After formalizing membership, the company must download the sign published on this page, being obliged to place it in a visible location, within the establishment, allowing consumers to identify the company as having an agreement with the Arbitration Center.
Companies that complete Full Membership will be included in the list of companies adhering to the Arbitration Center, published publicly through the most appropriate means.
Membership is revocable at any time.
To join, simply download the respective form, which must be printed, filled out, signed and stamped. Once completed, you must scan and forward the Membership Form to the email: juridico@ocimara.pt
